IUE Group organizes Children's Drawing competition.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Ikh Uilsiin Ereld Group LLC has planted 10,125 trees across 4 hectares within the International Culture Park (IC Park) development located in Khoroo 8 of Khan-Uul District, supporting the “Green Ulaanbaatar” initiative.
In celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary, Ikh Uilsiin Ereld Group successfully organized the “In Search of a Green Future” Children’s Drawing Competition across Ulaanbaatar. The competition aimed to foster environmental awareness, creative thinking, and children’s vision of a greener future.
The competition featured three age categories:
- Ages 5–8: “My Green World”
- Ages 9–12: “Green Future”
- Ages 13–17: “Our Green Planet”
A total of 214 artworks were submitted by children from across the capital city. The entries were evaluated based on key criteria, including the expression of environmental and green future values, creativity and originality, composition and use of color, technical execution, and age-appropriate artistic skills.
To ensure transparency and fairness, each artwork was independently assessed by professional judges specializing in fine arts, design, and photography. Participants’ names, ages, and personal information were concealed throughout the evaluation process, and each work was identified solely by a registration code. Judges conducted their evaluations independently without consultation.
The judging panel included Mongolian art teacher B. Batbayar, a graduate of the Mongolian University of Fine Arts and a participant in exhibitions such as “Baatar’s Gate,” “Geser Jangar,” and “Khiimori.” He has extensive experience in providing art education to children.
Industrial designer S. Battsetseg, a graduate of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, also served as a judge. She has showcased her works in exhibitions including “My World,” “Let’s Love,” and “My World 2,” and has been actively engaged in creative work in the fields of fine arts and design for many years.
Photographer, line drawing instructor, and Honored Cultural Worker V. Tsend-Ayush was another member of the jury. In addition to graduating from the Mongolian University of Fine Arts, he earned a master’s degree from the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture. He has extensive experience participating in international and national photography projects, exhibitions, and competitions.
Based on the independent evaluations of these highly experienced professionals, the competition successfully upheld the principles of fairness and transparency. Outstanding and notable artworks were selected in each age category, with a total of 35 young artists receiving awards and recognition.
Furthermore, an exhibition featuring all 214 submitted artworks was open to the public from May 30 to June 5, 2026. The exhibition provided an opportunity to share children’s creativity, environmental awareness, and aspirations for a greener future with the wider community.
The artworks displayed represented more than artistic talent; they reflected each child’s love for the Earth, dreams of living in harmony with nature, and appreciation of sustainable development and green values.
